My students have been as young as 6 and as old as my parents. In fact, my late mother was my very first student. She returned to piano after a 60-year gap!
Since opening my home studio in 2018, I have found that I connect and inspire older beginners best. A child’s readiness completely depends on individual maturity. I love working with students who really want to learn how to play piano or sing well, or both! This means I can teach adult students as well as I teach children and teens.
There is no pressure and no shame in my studio. I take you as you are, give you grace as you learn, pour myself into your training, and I get to smile and clap my hands in applause as you shine through your journey in music, and in life.

Tisha Rose is a seasoned educator and performer with over 30 years of experience. Her cozy home studio resides in Spring, Texas where she nurtures the next generation of musicians. She emphasizes teaching older beginners to intermediate the fundamentals of music theory, sight-singing, and the importance of proper technique for all instruments. Her teaching philosophy of integrity and excellence aligns with each student’s musical interests to customize a music education unique to every individual. Tisha Rose’s mission is to nurture not only musicianship, but also character, helping her students grow in both skill and confidence.
